Position Overview
The Director of Corporate Partnerships and Giving is a strategic philanthropy leader responsible for advancing and expanding corporate engagement, sponsorships, and charitable investment opportunities in support of Bronson Health Foundation’s mission. Reporting to the Vice President of Philanthropy/Foundation, this role leads the development and execution of a comprehensive corporate giving strategy designed to significantly increase philanthropic revenue, deepen regional and national business partnerships, and strengthen alignment between corporate philanthropy and organizational priorities.
This position reflects the Foundation’s commitment to unlocking substantial untapped growth potential in corporate giving. The Director will build and steward a focused portfolio of corporate relationships while developing scalable strategies to expand partnerships across broader regional and national markets. The role also provides leadership to a dedicated corporate giving team, ensuring disciplined execution, measurable outcomes, and long-term relationship development.
The Director serves as a key strategic partner to the Vice President, enabling a tiered engagement model in which principal-level corporate relationships remain aligned at the executive level while broader corporate engagement efforts expand through focused leadership and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Partnership Strategy & Growth

Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate philanthropy strategy that drives growth in sponsorships, charitable contributions, cause-marketing partnerships, and corporate engagement opportunities.

Identify and pursue new corporate giving opportunities beyond traditional service areas, including regional and national partnerships aligned with Foundation priorities.

Establish scalable relationship-development strategies across healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, retail, technology, and other key industries.

Identify vendors with philanthropic foundations and collaborate with grant writers to pursue new opportunities.

Analyze market trends, CSR priorities, and philanthropic patterns to identify emerging partnership opportunities.
Relationship Management & Revenue Development

Manage a portfolio of corporate partners and prospects, overseeing cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and long-term engagement.

Develop customized partnership opportunities that align Bronson’s mission with corporate community investment goals.

Collaborate with executive leadership, physicians, operational leaders, and Foundation stakeholders to create compelling funding and sponsorship opportunities.

Ensure exceptional stewardship practices that strengthen retention and elevate long-term partnership value.

Establish a baseline for corporate giving and develop a plan to increase revenue by 100% within 18 months.
Strategic Alignment & Executive Partnership

Partner closely with the Vice President to ensure strategic alignment across all corporate giving activities.

Support a tiered engagement model in which the Vice President maintains involvement with select high-capacity corporate relationships while the Director leads broader growth initiatives.

Build a portfolio that strategically engages CEO Bill Manns and other Bronson leaders.

Provide strategic recommendations regarding partnership prioritization, sponsorship opportunities, and revenue optimization.
Team Leadership & Operational Excellence

Lead, mentor, and develop team members responsible for corporate partnerships, event sponsorship, sponsorship operations, and donor engagement.

Establish clear performance expectations, metrics, and accountability measures tied to revenue growth and relationship outcomes.

Create efficient systems for pipeline management, stewardship tracking, proposal development, and reporting.

Collaborate across Foundation teams to ensure coordinated engagement strategies and consistent donor experiences.
Community & Brand Representation

Represent the Foundation at corporate events, industry forums, and regional partnership meetings.

Strengthen awareness of the Foundation’s impact and position Bronson as a premier philanthropic and community investment partner.

Build relationships with chambers of commerce, economic development organizations, industry associations, and business leaders.
Qualifications
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

7–10 years of progressively responsible experience in philanthropy, corporate partnerships, business development, sponsorship sales, or strategic relationship management.

Demonstrated success securing significant corporate contributions, sponsorships, or partnership revenue.

Experience leading growth-oriented initiatives and building high-performing teams preferred.

Working Conditions
