Part-time, fully remote position: approximately 10-20 hours per week

The Grants Writer and Administrative Assistant supports grant writing and grant management activities for the Cheetah Conservation Fund, the global leader in cheetah research and conservation. This position reports to the Grants Director and works closely with the Grant Project Managers and the Financial Team.

Key responsibilities include:

    • Monthly expense tracking on active grants
    • Financial reporting on active grants
    • Supporting CCF during grant audits
    • Maintaining grant records and documentation
    • Maintaining historical data on grant proposals
    • Organizing and maintaining digital grant directory
    • Researching and contacting foundations (family, private, corporate, and public)
    • Drafting expressions of interest and proposals

Qualifications:

    • Proficient in Excel, Word, and other MS and Google products
    • Good understanding of financial record keeping
    • Solid written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to self-organize as well as work in a collaborative environment.
    • Proactive research and outreach skills
    • 1- 3+ years’ experience in grant writing and budget development. Knowledge of conservation issues a plus.

Compensation:

  • $24 - $30/hour based on qualifications and experience
